Background

Qmed Consulting was initially contacted by a US based sponsor to provide monitoring services in Denmark for a prospective, multi-center study of a medical device.

The Process

Site staff at the hospital referred the sponsor to Qmed Consulting. The hospital staff was comfortable recommending Qmed Consulting since they had ample experience from working with the company.

The Solution

Qmed Consulting carefully analysed the assignment and a CRA, was allocated for the study. During a period of two years, the relationship between Qmed Consulting and the sponsor has developed to include:

  • Monitoring services in not only in Denmark but also in Scandinavia and the rest of Europe
  • Multiple studies have been initiated by the sponsor and are carried out together with Qmed Consulting
  • Clinical study submissions for several studies in all the countries where Qmed Consulting CRAs are active.
Conclusion
